KYLE WHITE
Software / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer
Tech-focused engineer with 4 years of aerospace manufacturing engineering experience and a
newly earned BS in Computer Science from Bellevue College.
Experience with full-stack development, DevOps, cloud computing, machine learning, and data science.
Seeking interesting engineering challenges that span the physical and digital
world, with future goals of using tech for environmental restoration.
I have spent the last 2.5 years working as a software engineer
for a small startup named Senserva, most recently as a developer
and project manager for a customer-facing PowerBI dashboard and cloud-based
data retrieval application using Azure App Service and Azure SQL Database.
WHAT I DO
Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering
Computer aided design (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), computer aided manufacturing (CAM), CNC programming, process design, new product introduction, and multi-axis CNC machining. Experience with common aerospace manufacturing processes for both metallics and composites. Rapid prototyping with FDM, SLA, and SLS 3D printing processes and CNC machining. Design for manufacture and assembly (DFM, DFA, DFx).
Full-Stack Software Development
Object-oriented programming in Java, C#, C++, and C. Web and mobile app development using JavaScript, React, React Native, HTML, and CSS. CI/CD with Github Actions and Azure Devops. Distributed/cloud computing, virtualization, and storage using AWS. Relational and NoSQL database experience using a variety of services and clients. Machine learning, neural networks, and artificial intelligence using Python, R, Jupyter, and ML packages such as AWS Rekognition and Tensorflow. Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and other IOT devices.
Play Outdoors
Snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and enjoying the beauty of the earth.
Some of my favorite places include Stevens Pass, Mt. Baker Ski Area, North Cascades National Park, Baker Lake, Diablo Lake, Ross Lake, and many others throughout the Pacific Northwest.
